ATTO Disk Benchmark

Select one of your storage devices, hit the Start button, and ATTO Disk Benchmark will put it to the test. That’s what ATTO Disk Benchmark does – it puts storage devices to the test. It can benchmark hard disk drives (HDDs), solid state drives (SSDs), host bus adapters (HBAs), and RAID arrays.

ATTO Disk Benchmark doesn’t have to be installed to run on a Windows PC. To get started with this application, you have to download a ZIP archive, extract its contents, and then run the ATTO Disk Benchmark executable (.EXE).

The interface features two main sections. The one at the top lets you choose what storage device will be benchmarked and lets you specify how the benchmarking process will run. The one at the bottom graphically displays the results of the benchmark test. If you don’t understand something, open the ATTO Disk Benchmark Help file and you’ll see that it explains what each command does.

Using ATTO Disk Benchmark is a very simple process that can be broken down into three steps. Step 1: launch the application and set up the benchmark parameters. Step 2: launch the benchmark and wait for it to complete (this may take a while). Step 3: review the test results, save them as a .BMK file, or print them.
